Wendy Bindeman, PhD
Wendy is originally from Chicago, Illinois, and went to undergrad at St. Olaf College in Minnesota, where she double-majored in biology and Spanish. She recently finished a PhD in Cancer Biology at Vanderbilt University, where her research focused on brain metastasis in breast cancer. Wendy loves all types of scientific writing, from general audience articles to highly technical writing. Fun facts about Wendy: If she’s not working, she’s probably on a climbing wall or hiking trail! And if she could pick one other topic to become an expert in, it would be linguistics - she thinks the cognitive processes behind new language acquisition are fascinating.
